Ouch! Seems like it fared pretty well, all things considered.

Maybe it "fell" off the truck.

I hope no one was hurt.

But that is what happens when you ignore the alternating red / green light on the overhead console.

Actually, that probably happens when you are fixated on that little light (note to self)

Hope no one was hurt as well. That is hard to look at!

There's no mud or dirt on the sides or roof of that car. Not even any scrapes in the paint. The passenger mirror not even scratched. Looks really odd. I wonder if this was some sort of roll over test vehicle? It would be really hard to roll this car unless you departed the road and put it in the ditch. If that were the case the car would be a mess. It just look too 'perfect' to be an accident car. Even the roof is damaged in a nearly symmetrical way.

Also, where are the side curtain aribags? Didn't deploy? Or deactivated for a test.

Great observations! Roof crush test possibly?

Maybe these folks had something to do with this: http://www.iihs.org/iihs/ratings/vehicle/v/acura/rlx

RLX roof strength is better than the 2012 RL: http://www.iihs.org/iihs/ratings/vehicle/v/acura/rl

I'm thinking it was a controlled experiment because if the car had rolled, the side view mirror would have likely come off.

Did a little digging, could be from the NHTSA's testing facility in Colonial Beach, VA. This seems very likely to be a roof crush test victim, especially given how the center of the roof is bowed up in the middle, which would likely have been hammered back down in a real roll-over.

These videos are several years old. It looks like the RLX was tested even further, maybe from both sides? Maybe this is Honda's test?
