LOL I won't be moving too fast but I at least have a plan. The first three things that were ordered will be all that go on for a while and maybe jdm window visors

I don't know who they were but they kept standing around in my pictures. there was a group of five and finally for the last pic all but the one who is standing in the photo had sense enough to move out of my way Luckily you can't see that beast too well

L's ,
Is the oem window visor dark enough? I was going to order weather tech but they seem to be very light tint. My windows are dark tint and noticed yours are too, but cant tell if the visors match. Also, where did you order them from?

Thanks

They're plenty dark for me. they seem to match my 20% tint pretty well. I ordered from an acura dealership on ebay but they don't seem to have them anymore. I found these on ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-05-2008-...cd166b&vxp=mtr

They seem legit. If you don't feel comfortable ordering from them, Tim on here from oemacuraparts.com can hook you up. Its part # 08R04-SJA-200

As for updates, I don't have too many. Just recently got the transmission, and diff fluids changed. Purchased a slightly used wood wheel for the outrageous price of $50 , and got the torn portiosn of my seats reupholstered. trying to keep the RL as clean and perfect running as possible.

18" Acura RL A-Spec wheels. Dealers, eBay, Craigslist, and wheel remanufacturers will have them.

Just installed some TSX R lenses, Morimoto 5000k low beam bulbs and Morimoto 3000K fogs lights. The difference is quite impressive. Got everything from the retrofit source. I was surpised at the quality and fair price of the components.

And not standing in front of the car with the glare flooding the lens.

Did you take apart the headlights yourself? How does the Morimoto 3000k look? My Xenondepot ballast just blew so I might now buy Morimoto.

I took them apart

As for how I like the Morimoto 3000k, I really like them. I've had other 3000k kits and was disappointed in the deepness of the yellow. These fire up perfectly and are a deep golden yellow. I'm very satisfied with my purchases from the retrofit source

Nice new ride! If something happens to my CL this would be on my list. So the engine is the same as the 3rd gen TL-S right? so their engine mods can work on the RL?

^For the most part yes. You run into issues at the tranny due to SH-AWD.

I had XtremeHID slim ballasts in the RL with 6000k bulbs. There was a little flicker from the day I got them used, until the day they died plugging them into the Tundra. I was a ballast away from completing my Fusion fog light retrofit, and had to decide between new XtremeHID ballasts @ $60 or Morimoto @ $110. I picked up a used set of Morimoto 3Five from a member on HIDPlanet for $60, and I do not regret the decision in the least. Quick ignition and great stability really show how cheap my last ballasts were.

Just 5000k fog lights in Fusion projectors:

Ya i figured. I'd like to see a stroked 3.7L RL...maybe some cams. Are there any tuning options? I take it the ECU is different from the TL-S?

007 those foglights look amazing. I might look into those.

I just ordered a rear motor mount from rockauto ($200 cheaper than oem) and some v3 PCDs from RV6. Figured if I'm going to drop the jpipe to do the rear mount I might as well change out 9 year old 140K + mile cats while I'm at it. I would've gone HFPC but didn't want to pay the extra money

Depending on how it sounds I may change out the resonators to tune the exhaust note a bit.

The Fusion projectors won't compete with the RL's but they add a great touch, a la Carbon Legend.

Yea unlike other 3000K kits I've gotten, the Morimoto is deep yellow no matter what angle you look at them. They look great

I still need to take pictures of the headlights. I'll try to get to that sometime this week if the snow isn't too bad.

I got the PCDs installed and I'm quite surprised how well the car moves now. This is the power the RL should have had from the factory. I'm sad to say though that I am now considering selling the RL to get an SUV.

I will be sad to see it go but I'm hoping it finds a good home. Otherwise it will be going to carmax at the end of this week.
