I don't know who they were but they kept standing around in my pictures. there was a group of five and finally for the last pic all but the one who is standing in the photo had sense enough to move out of my way Luckily you can't see that beast too well

They seem legit. If you don't feel comfortable ordering from them, Tim on here from oemacuraparts.com can hook you up. Its part # 08R04-SJA-200

Hi, Oscar!

Oscar! Whats up man? How have you been?
As for updates, I don't have too many. Just recently got the transmission, and diff fluids changed. Purchased a slightly used wood wheel for the outrageous price of $50 , and got the torn portiosn of my seats reupholstered. trying to keep the RL as clean and perfect running as possible.

18" Acura RL A-Spec wheels. Dealers, eBay, Craigslist, and wheel remanufacturers will have them.

And not standing in front of the car with the glare flooding the lens.

Burning Brakes
Did you take apart the headlights yourself? How does the Morimoto 3000k look? My Xenondepot ballast just blew so I might now buy Morimoto.

Will do!
I took them apart
As for how I like the Morimoto 3000k, I really like them. I've had other 3000k kits and was disappointed in the deepness of the yellow. These fire up perfectly and are a deep golden yellow. I'm very satisfied with my purchases from the retrofit source

Got a few goodies in this past week. I went with the Ralco Stock Size Lightweight Crank pulley. The gains were definitely noticeable! The car accelerated alot faster and felt alot lighter on it's feet.
About 4 days later I installed the RV6 Longtube Jpipe. WHOA! The car is much quicker now. Doesn't take much for it to move now and it feels much more powerful. Best performance mod for the RL by far. I'll get some pictures and video soon. Probably this weekend.

^For the most part yes. You run into issues at the tranny due to SH-AWD.
I had XtremeHID slim ballasts in the RL with 6000k bulbs. There was a little flicker from the day I got them used, until the day they died plugging them into the Tundra. I was a ballast away from completing my Fusion fog light retrofit, and had to decide between new XtremeHID ballasts @ $60 or Morimoto @ $110. I picked up a used set of Morimoto 3Five from a member on HIDPlanet for $60, and I do not regret the decision in the least. Quick ignition and great stability really show how cheap my last ballasts were.
Just 5000k fog lights in Fusion projectors:

007 those foglights look amazing. I might look into those.
I just ordered a rear motor mount from rockauto ($200 cheaper than oem) and some v3 PCDs from RV6. Figured if I'm going to drop the jpipe to do the rear mount I might as well change out 9 year old 140K + mile cats while I'm at it. I would've gone HFPC but didn't want to pay the extra money
Depending on how it sounds I may change out the resonators to tune the exhaust note a bit.

The Fusion projectors won't compete with the RL's but they add a great touch, a la Carbon Legend.

I still need to take pictures of the headlights. I'll try to get to that sometime this week if the snow isn't too bad.
I got the PCDs installed and I'm quite surprised how well the car moves now. This is the power the RL should have had from the factory. I'm sad to say though that I am now considering selling the RL to get an SUV.
