Don't be afraid to use the search button! People ask this question too many times.
I'm not even sure how to answer you. There aren't many options for the RL. Aspec springs will drop the car about 1", H&R will drop it about 1.5". You can use your OEM shocks for both but they will wear out faster.

Do it......

Dropped my 08 on H & R springs with the stock shocks and love it. Honestly enjoy the ride a little more. Not as plush but it just makes it feel like more of a sports sedan than a luxury car. To compare to I also have a 04 Acura TL and the ride on the RL with springs is still much better. And honestly I just like the look so much more.

Just my 2 cents. Good luck!

So I'm at 90,000 miles on my 06 rl would it not be safe to now put the H R springs on?? I drive 65+ miles a day just as FYI.
Also if u put on the aspec shocks and h r springs would that make the drop 2.5 in??

I'm dropped on H&R as well with 19" TSW Mallory 5's. It looks incredible. You will not be disappointed.

I had aspec suspension and the drop was not what i wanted (need MOAR LOW) so i swapped to h&r with aspec shocks. it looks better but wish there were more options on adjustable coilovers.

H&R springs and aspec shocks makes the car ride stiff and not as lush as oem. even the entire aspec setup was a little stiff, with the h&r it's very noticeable.

There actually are a couple options, most of which are JDM.

This is conflicting with what someone else said which was H&R springs wit aspec suspension gives closest to stock ride as any other combo. Ughhh this is so annoying lol

Here's my 07 with H&Rs and 18" wheels. I'm at 90K and still on original shocks....no problemo. Ride was a bit harsher then stock setup, but I don't mind at all given the more aggressive look and stance (wife...not so much). Also found that the setup angled the headlights a bit downward...now I use high beams more. Very happy overall.

manolo, from plush to stiff: stock, stock struts + H&R, Aspec + H&R, full Aspec. This comes from compiled testimony of many members.
