Location of OBD II socket?

Where is it located? We had an unexpected snow storm yesterday and drove thru some rough conditions, car got stuck in snow multiple times etc. and got a CEL last night. Wanted to check the code with a OBD II reader.

Thanks.

it should be right under the dash by the drivers side..... my was right by where my right knee rests when im driving..... run your hand under the drivers side dash, you can also remove the panel below the steering wheel and find it easily. it literally takea a minute to remove and locate

Yep, it comes right out with some wiggling.

There is a rubber flap under that, just lift that up and you can't miss the socket.

Got it. Gives a 0145 code. Went to my mechanic as I could not clear it. He said one out of four O2 sensors dies, so minor fix, nothing to worry about. I am relieved.
