Not bad looking at all.
It'd be closer to the top of my list along with the Lightning & Rivian over the other real options (Hummer, Silverado, etc)

Ram reveals the technical details of its first electric pickup at the New York International Auto Show. The Ram 1500 REV aims for up to 500 miles of range when powered from a 229-kWh battery pack, making it the segment leader.

Ram Trucks presented the first pictures of the 1500 REV electric pickup in February, during the Super Bowl LVII, but left a lot of details to the imagination. The promotional video “Premature Electrification” aired in February, leaving everyone scratching their heads. Stellantis seized the NY auto show opportunity to explain its position by revealing all the details of the upcoming electric pickup.

Stellantis has always claimed that the Ram 1500 REV will offer a class-leading range, while the name suggested it might employ a range extender. In New York, Ram Trucks have cleared all doubts by announcing that the extended-range version of the truck would have up to 500 miles (805 km) of range, a record in its segment. This performance is achievable thanks to a 229-kWh battery, although an extended-range version using a gas-powered engine is also in the works. With the standard 168-kWh battery pack, the Ram 1500 REV can travel up to 350 miles (560 km) on a charge, which is still impressive.

The Ram 1500 REV is built on the new STLA Frame platform suitable for full-size body-on-frame electric trucks. Stellantis claims the pickup will offer “the industry’s best combination of range, towing, payload, and charge time.” We can agree about the range, and we learn that the Ram 1500 EV has 14,000 lb (6,350 kg) of towing capacity. This beats the Ford F-150 Lightning (10,000 lb/4,500 kg) and Rivian R1T (11,000 lb/5,000 kg), but is below the Chevy Silverado EV’s towing capacity of 20,000 lb (9,000 kg).

The truck features two electric motors, front and rear, with 250 kW of power each, for a total of 654 horsepower. The one on the front axle can be disconnected, allowing the front wheels to spin freely in certain conditions. The rear-axle drive unit features an electronic-locking rear differential. The Ram 1500 REV has an 800-volt electrical system. This allows the truck to add 110 miles (180 km) of range in 10 minutes of charging at a 350 kW DC fast charger.

Ram Truck’s electric pickup features vehicle-to-vehicle, vehicle-to-home, and vehicle-to-grid bi-directional charging. It can also power external devices, with a 7.2-kW onboard power panel in the bed and a 3.6-kW power panel in the frunk. The Ram 1500 REV features a RamBox lockable bed storage with a 115-volt outlet. The RamBox is illuminated, weatherproof, and includes drain plugs on the bottom of the storage bins. If you were wondering, the electric pickup comes with a 15 cu-ft (425-liter) frunk.

The REV lineup comprises five trim levels, with Tungsten at the top earning the title of the most technologically advanced Ram 1500 ever produced. It has a 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen, doubled by a 10.25-inch passenger screen which can be used in copilot mode or for mirroring other devices’ screens. The Ram 1500 REV will arrive at dealerships in late 2024 as a 2025 model.

The all-new, all-electric 2025 Ram 1500 REV - the first battery-electric light-duty pickup truck from Ram Truck - made its world debut at the 2023 New York International Auto Show. The entire Ram lineup will provide customers with electrified solutions that deliver disruptive, leading-edge advanced technology in the years to come.

"The all-electric Ram 1500 REV is a monumental milestone on our continued journey to offer the industry's best electrified solutions and further fortifies our award-winning lineup," said Mike Koval Jr., Ram brand CEO - Stellantis. "We believe in bringing the right range of powertrain solutions to our customers and will continue to redefine the pickup truck segment. Our all-new Ram 1500 REV pushes past the competition in areas customers care about most, including range, towing, payload and charge time."

The 2025 Ram 1500 REV will offer customers two all-electric options, including a standard 168-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack with a targeted range of up to 350 miles and an optional 229-kWh large battery pack with a targeted range of up to an unsurpassed 500 miles. Both can add up to 110 miles of range in approximately 10 minutes with 800-volt DC fast charging at up to 350 kW, offering customers quick and convenient charging solutions.

Vehicle-to-vehicle, vehicle-to-home and vehicle-to-grid bi-directional charging affords the Ram 1500 REV the flexibility to charge another Stellantis battery-electric vehicle or provide power back to the grid. With Ram's mission to make lives easier, the truck can also send power to a home during a storm, run the tailgate party or provide power at the camp or jobsite. An onboard power panel in the bed can provide up to 7.2 kW while an available onboard power panel in the front trunk (frunk) provides up to 3.6 kW.

Other targeted performance figures include a 0-60 mph time of 4.4 seconds, 654 horsepower and 620 lb.-ft. of torque, up to 24 inches of water fording, up to 14,000 pounds towing and a maximum payload capacity of 2,700 pounds.

Ram is committed to innovation and powertrain leadership with a lineup that consists of anything and everything truck buyers want and need, meeting real-world demands. Today, Ram offers the most fuel-efficient 4x4s and the quickest, fastest and most powerful pickup truck straight from the factory.

The 2025 Ram 1500 REV is available in five trims, including Tradesman, Big Horn/Lone Star, Laramie, Limited and, introducing an all-new trim, Tungsten.

Ram 1500 REV is part of Ram's significant contribution to Stellantis' Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan to lead the way the world moves by delivering innovative, clean, safe and affordable mobility solutions. As part of Dare Forward 2030, Stellantis is investing more than €30 billion through 2025 in electrification and software to deliver battery-electric vehicles that meet customer demands.

The all-new Ram 1500 REV XR with class-shattering range will follow the introduction of the all-electric Ram 1500 REV.

No-compromise electrified benchmark with segment-leading capability, power, performance and efficiency

The Ram 1500 REV delivers consumers a new level of performance with dual 250-kilowatt (kW) electric drive modules (EDMs) that combine the motor, gearbox and inverter along with all-wheel-drive capability. The 2025 Ram 1500 REV features one EDM on the front axle with an automatic wheel-end disconnect that allow the front wheels to spin freely in certain conditions, maximizing efficiency. A 250-kW EDM is positioned on the rear axle available with an electronic-locking rear differential.

The standard 168-kWh battery pack has a targeted range of up to 350 miles and the optional 229-kWh large battery pack has a targeted range of up to an unsurpassed 500 miles. Both can add up to 110 miles of range in approximately 10 minutes with 800-volt DC fast charging at up to 350 kW, offering customers a quick and convenient recharging solution. Lives will be made easier courtesy of vehicle-to-vehicle, vehicle-to-home and vehicle-grid bi-directional charging that can send power to a home during a storm, run the tailgate party or provide power at the camp or jobsite. An onboard power panel in the bed can provide up to 7.2 kW while the available onboard power panel in the frunk provides up to 3.6 kW.

The 2025 Ram 1500 REV is built on the all-new STLA Frame designed specifically for full-size electric vehicles featuring a body-on-frame design. The all-new high-strength steel frame is comprised of advanced materials to be lightweight yet stiff and durable. The STLA Frame is wider in the middle to efficiently incorporate the battery pack while still using protection afforded by the frame rails. A full-length aero belly pan further enhances the segment's most slippery truck with an estimated .340 coefficient of drag.

Drivers will enjoy class-leading ride and handling, a multi-link independent rear suspension with standard, segment-exclusive, active-level, four-corner air suspension with adaptive damping. The adjustable air suspension enables five different modes: entry/exit, aero, normal, off-road 1 and off-road 2. All-new 22-by-9-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in 275/50R22 Pirelli Scorpion all-season tires achieve an unmatched combination of wear resistance and reduced road noise.

Autonomous vehicle capabilities include Hands-free Active Driving Assist and ParkSense Automated Parking System. Active Driving Assist is available for hands-on-wheel/eyes-on-road and hands-free/eyes-on-road automated driving using lane centering with adaptive cruise control. The system uses multiple sensors, including radars and cameras, to dictate appropriate roads for the technology.

Modern design showcases all-new face of Ram's electrified future

The 2025 Ram 1500 REV boasts a modern, contemporary design aesthetic that telegraphs the bold, heroic presence Ram is known for while evolving its DNA to signify an electrified future. The all-new face is instantly recognizable while being provocative in its graphic presence and visual architecture. The all-electric Ram 1500 REV includes signature lit "tuning fork" premium LED headlamps, a lit R-A-M badge reimagined in a modern, contemporary script and a one-touch power operated frunk with a best-in-class 15 cu.-ft. of space available. The Ram 1500 REV embraces a modern, body-color front fascia to differentiate it from the rest of the light-duty lineup while maintaining Ram's DNA.

Ram's first fully electrified light-duty truck stays true to its roots with muscular body lines and fender openings that have been stretched to cover 20- or 22-inch all-terrain tires. The all-electrified Ram 1500 REV features a specific, newly designed hood that is both svelte but muscular, maximizing internal frunk volume by conscientious sculpting of the external surface. A taut, arcing body-side character line stretches from front to rear, while sophisticated sculpture ensures a cohesive, modern side profile that is in harmony with the front and rear.

The charge port has been thoughtfully placed on the driver's side front quarter panel and, when plugged in, is illuminated by blinking premium LED lighting. An audible sound signals the Ram 1500 REV is plugged in and charging has begun. The charge port features Level 1 and Level 2 AC charging on the top half and DC fast charging on the bottom half of the charger.

Transitioning to the rear of the Ram 1500 REV, Tungsten models feature an all-new power tailgate and a new, modern and contemporary R-A-M badge. Like the front, the rear of the Ram 1500 REV features an all-new, EV-specific, premium LED taillight design that spans onto the tailgate, indicating it is Ram's all-electric light-duty offering.

The new 2025 Ram 1500 REV offers the best lockable bed storage in the segment with the unique and convenient RamBox featuring a 115-volt outlet. RamBox is illuminated, highly versatile, weatherproof, lockable and includes drain plugs on the bottom of the storage bins.

Authentic, premium materials compliment the most technologically advanced Ram 1500 ever

The new 2025 Ram 1500 REV raises the benchmark for pickup truck interiors once again with a variety of authentic, premium materials that are both comfortable and durable. The interior design team focused on premium textures, colors, materials and continuing to enhance functionality for unexpected luxury throughout. Authentic and premium materials include carbon-fiber, metal and leather elements that combine to deliver a level of luxury only seen in a Ram truck.

The most technologically advanced Ram 1500 ever offers a host of leading-edge features incorporated into the segment's leading interior, including the advanced Uconnect 5 system with a new 14.5-inch touchscreen, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a segment-first 10.25-inch passenger screen, digital rearview mirror, Head-up Display (HUD) and a Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system.

Other enhanced features include an e-shifter (P/R/N/D functionality with new buttons for eco mode, axle lock, hill-descent control and to open and close the frunk), new regen buttons (normal or one pedal driving with max regen), a redesigned starter button that now features an illuminated power symbol, push-button trailer steering knob and an accessory switch bank that, when equipped with the 14.5-inch touchscreen, uses buttons both on the bottom of the touchscreen and directly off screen below.

The new Ram 1500 REV Tungsten trim gives customers an ultra-premium experience while staying true to the hardworking nature of the Ram 1500. Tungsten's Indigo/Sea Salt interior includes new platinum patina/semi-bright dual-textured metal accents featuring diamond knurling, suede-wrapped headliner, A- and B-pillars and visors, and heated and ventilated premium quilted leather driver and front passenger seats with 24-way power, including memory settings and a massage function, power lumbar support and four-way powered headrests. Other features that give Tungsten a well-crafted, high-quality feel and appearance include a Tungsten badge on the center console featuring inlaid lettering and diamond knurling, which also proudly displays the vehicle identification number or VIN, brushed platinum patina aluminum litho bezels, a unique shifter center cap, an ultra-premium Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system with 23 speakers, all-new dual wireless chargers and a metal pedal kit.

The 2025 Ram 1500 REV features a 10.25-inch passenger screen. Only visible to the front passenger and with dynamic touchscreen control, it offers three major functions: co-pilot (navigation, device management), entertainment (via HDMI) and the ability to view the exterior vehicle cameras. The front passenger screen features an HDMI plug, which lets occupants connect their phone or tablet, turning the touchscreen into a mirrored extension of their device, allowing internet searches, music and app use to project through the Uconnect 5 system.

The 2025 Ram 1500 REV features a full-color HUD that is configurable up to 10 inches and features several different content areas at once, including Lane Departure, Lane Keep Assist, adaptive cruise control, turn-by-turn navigation, current speed, current gear and speed limit. All HUD settings can be personalized and saved within the driver profiles.

Tailored to the Ram 1500 REV's battery-electric capabilities, the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster includes a new screen that shows charge schedule (estimated charge times for both Level 1 and Level 2 chargers) and one pedal driving. Nearly two dozen different menus are offered, including driver-assist technologies such as adaptive cruise control, active driving assist, drowsy driver detection and speed limit traffic signs display.

Smartphone as a Key, in coordination with the Ram app, enables customers to use their smartphone as a key to access and start the vehicle without their phone leaving their pocket. Ram owners can also create digital keys that can be shared with other smartphones, with full control over the access. The card key is a backup that can be used in case the phone battery is dead or if the driver doesn't have their phone with them. A traditional key fob is standard, but the smartphone and card key options give customers more flexibility in terms of how they access their trucks.

Ultra-premium Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system provides exceptional sound quality

The new Ram 1500 Tungsten earns its place atop the lineup with an ultra-premium 23-speaker Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system as standard equipment. Stunning audio performance is delivered through the exquisite, segment-exclusive Klipsch audio system, which employs 23 specifically tuned speakers, including a high-performing 12-inch subwoofer.

I bet that's more expensive than the Ford when in top trim level. Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out. Looks like an awesome truck though.

Top trim maybe. I'd almost give the Ram the nod over the Lightning.
We'll see how the full range prices out

The Ram looks better to me. I wonder how much it'll undercut the Rivian.

In that top trim it probably won't. Pretty sure the top trim Lightning is more expensive than the Rivian, certainly more than I paid for it. The real sellers for these are the mid to low tier models that most people have a prayer of affording.

Ram's long-rumored entry-level pickup is about to make its official debut on the Brazilian market. Possibly called Rampage, and designed jointly by teams in Brazil and in the United States, the truck will slot at the bottom of the company's range and feature a unibody architecture.

Embedded above, the preview video published by the Stellantis-owned brand suggests that the Rampage will borrow a handful of styling cues from the full-size 1500. Its grille features a big "RAM" emblem, its headlights look 1500-esque, and its tailgate has an integrated spoiler. It also features a sculpted hood with "RAM TURBO" emblems on both sides. Ram is keeping the interior under wraps for the time being, and keep in mind the model depicted in the video could be an upscale trim level. Base models will undoubtedly look a lot more, well ... basic.

Most sources claim the Rampage will share its architecture with the Jeep Commander sold in several global markets, the Alfa Romeo Tonale and the Dodge Hornet. If that's accurate, it will land as a unibody model rather than with body-on-frame architecture. Brazilian website Autos Segredos writes that the scaled-down 1500 will stretch about 197 inches long, 73 inches wide and 71 inches tall. For context, the Ford Maverick (which also uses a unibody architecture) measures approximately 200 inches long, 73 inches wide and 69 inches tall.

Official specifications haven't been published; Ram simply promised that the truck will offer "unrivaled power," a marketing jingle we can interpret in vastly different ways depending on the context. Enthusiast website Mopar Insiders believes the Rampage will launch with a 2.0-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder engine and that a gasoline-powered 2.0-liter turbo-four will be offered a little later in the production run. Front-wheel drive will likely come standard, and we're guessing that all-wheel drive will be offered at an extra cost on at least some trim levels.

Ram will release additional details about the Rampage (assuming that's the name chosen) in the coming weeks, and sales in Brazil should start by the end of 2023. It's too early to tell whether the truck will be sold in America, though we wouldn't be surprised if it remains overseas. Ram stresses the Rampage was "developed in partnership with the United States," but that's not a guarantee that it will be available here.

When it arrives in showrooms, the Rampage (a name last used by Dodge between 1982 and 1984) won't be the smallest truck in Ram's global family. Visit one of the company's Mexican showrooms and you'll find the 176-inch-long 700, which is a badge-engineered Fiat Strada.

As you're well aware, Chrysler is currently transitioning from internal combustion engines to all-electric propulsion. Said transition is for the long term rather than an overnight affair, as you'd expect from a company that joined the zero-emission trend very late in comparison to its direct rivals. The aforementioned transition also includes an element of downsizing, best represented by the phaseout of the HEMI in favor of the Hurricane engine.

Based on the body-on-frame platform of the Ram 1500 pickup truck, namely the fifth generation that rolled out for the 2019 model year, the Jeep Wagoneer is the first application of the inline-six lump. A twin-turbo design rather than a naturally-aspirated mill, the Hurricane comes in two flavors at press time: standard and high output. In the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer, it develops 420 horsepower and 510 horsepower, respectively. Peak torque is pretty good as well, with Jeep promising 468 and 500 pound-feet (635 and 678 Nm) on full song from a displacement of merely 3.0 liters.

Both tunes are – obviously enough – easier on the dino juice than the 5.7- and 6.4-liter HEMI engines. Manufactured in Mexico at the Saltillo plant where all HEMIs – including the Hellcat – are currently made, the Hurricane will be used by the Ram 1500 as well. The North American half of the Stellantis group has recently teased its 2024 model year half-ton pickup truck on social media by means of a short video. It hypes potential customers and Ram loyalists with the imminent arrival of a new force. The Star Wars reference is fine and all, but Ram also refers to… wait for it… forced induction.

Covered by a cloud of dust in the desert setting where Ram also filmed the promo clips for the Hellcat-engined 1500 TRX, the 2024 model year 1500 with the Hurricane engine will premiere on May 10. It's not known if the third-largest automaker of the Big Three in Detroit will also reveal the output figures of the force-fed sixer in this application. We also don't have enough data to tell whether the Hurricane will prove as reliable as the good ol' HEMI, which is a much simpler engine due to its cam-in-block architecture.

The overhead-valve V8 in the Ram 1500 produces 395 horsepower and 410 pound-feet (556 Nm), and it's a mild hybrid to boot thanks to a belt-driven motor generator. Connected to an LG-supplied battery, the motor generator can supply the free-breathing engine with up to 130 pound-feet (176 Nm) of torque when needed.

Chrysler – which is officially known as FCA US LLC these days – hasn't electrified the Hurricane. Yet, that is. A 48-volt system is the least the Auburn Hills-based automaker can do, although we've also heard that plug-in hybrids are in the offing as well. Considering that pickups are meant for towing and hauling by design, the additional weight of a plug-in system leads us to believe that the Ram 1500 Hurricane will come as is or/and as a mild hybrid.

This a nothing but an existing RAM with a new grill and updated headlights and dash console. It'd say it'll have the poorest efficiency and least range among the pick up truck offerings....

Someone at Stellantis could be in trouble because Ram 1500 Tungsten info just got leaked. It’s a little bit weird because the info was found on a Dodge website, which is now separate from Ram. But overall, there are tons of spicy 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten features to get excited about. The 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten is a new trim level with luxurious features to kick off the mid-cycle refresh. This indicates that the 2024 Ram 1500 will primarily be a carryover model. This stinks because it’s starting to show its age.

Also, based on the Ram 1500 REV Tungsten model, it’s safe to assume that this truck will be loaded with upscale materials and convenience features.

First of all, the spy photos we’ve seen indicate that the Ram 1500 is receiving a slight facelift. The double-line LED headlights have a new parallel, squarish shape that’s different from the Ram 1500 REV’s style. Some critics feel like it’s similar to how the Dodge Challenger looks.

The grille and bumper will probably have a unique shape. Also, it’s safe to expect new wheel designs, revised LED taillights, an updated rear bumper, and new special edition colors. The cab looks like it’s the same size.

The Ram Boxes on the side of the truck are covered by camouflage too. It wouldn’t be surprising for the Ram 1500 to get a corner step in the bumper. Dual tailpipes make things interesting with sports wheels that have the logo covered up.

The interior shows a massive vertical touchscreen and a passenger screen, which is available in Jeep models. The center console could be 15.0 inches if our clues are correct.

Clues indicate that the 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten will gain the twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six High Output engine, which is exciting. Typically trucks don’t receive new engines during mid-cycle refreshes.

This information is included on a list of specs for the Ram 1500 that’s listed on this Dodge site. Does this mean that Dodge Ram is coming back together? Are we about to see a new era of muscle trucks?

The standard 3.0-liter Hurricane engine cranks out 400 hp and 468 lb-ft of torque. The high Output variant provides 510 hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. The standard engine could be available on cheaper trims, but the luxury Tungsten model gets extra muscle.

Aside from the Ram 1500 TRX, the most powerful engine in the current lineup is the 5.7-liter V8 unit with 395 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque. This engine could be carried over or dropped.

We hope the Ram 1500 gets more towing power. The current generation can tow up to 12,750 lbs and carry a payload of up to 2,335 lbs, but the Ford F-150 can tow up to 14,000 lbs.

Also, just to differentiate this truck from the Ram 1500 REV Tungsten model, the service pages list a 33-gallon tank. As far as we know, the electric Ram truck doesn’t have a gas tank.

Reportedly, the 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten will be absolutely loaded. The service sheet, which is still live at the time of my reporting, is 12 pages long. This truck may be the most luxurious Ram ever offered.

You can see items and features such as a jeweled gear shifter, tri-fold tonneau cover, stabilizer bars, a wood/leather-wrapped steering wheel, under-seat lighting, a four-corner air suspension, a hands-free driving system, and a head-up display.

It says price class R, but I can’t find more information about that at the moment. Also, to circle back to Dodge Ram making a return, Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis just took over for Mike Koval. So, the same person is leading Dodge and Ram.

This leak could be related to what’s coming down the pipeline in the future, but it’s confusing for it to be on the Dodge site. Tim Kuniskis is starting with Ram on July 1, so we might learn more soon.

The service page has a ton of little things to obsess over, and we’re working to connect more dots to go beyond pure speculation.

Ram Trucks has brought back to life Dodge's Ramcharger two-door full-size SUV nameplate - this time for an all-new, first-ever full-size pickup truck that has two electric motors and a V6 onboard.

Dodge produced the large sport utility vehicle from 1974 to 1993, and it was based on the short-wheelbase variant of the Dodge D Series/Ram pickup truck chassis. There was also a Plymouth Trail Duster sibling, the brand's one and only SUV, built between 1974 and 1981. Now, exactly three decades after the Dodge Ramcharger's demise, the moniker returns for the all-new 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger, a model with "class-shattering unlimited battery-electric range."

As always, we must look at the fine print when such big words are involved – like unlimited BEV range. After all, Stellantis' prized Ram Trucks brand uses even more prophetic words – "ultimate" Ram 1500, "unprecedented" range, or "the industry's best combination of range, towing, and payload." So, let us see what the fuss is all about.

The 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger is almost like the previously introduced 2025 Ram 1500 REV, the first-ever Ram electric truck – it has 250-kW (335 hp) front and 238-kW (319 hp) rear "electric drive modules (EDMs)" powered by a liquid-cooled 92-kWh battery pack.

However, the latter is also powered by an onboard 130 kW generator hooked to a 3.6-liter V6. Now, what are those EDMs? In a nutshell, they combine the electric motor, gearbox, and inverter – and together form the basis of electric all-wheel drive capability. Oh, and the targeted range isn't so "unlimited," after all, since the automaker clearly states it aims for up to 690 miles (1,110 km). It's still impressive, though. Classic grid recharging is also available, by the way, via 400-volt DC fast charging at up to 145 kW.

Now, the rest of the targeted figures are equally mesmerizing. Ram wants the 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger to offer 663 hp and 615 lb.-ft. of torque, hit 60 mph (96 kph) in 4.4 seconds, and harbor a payload of up to 2,625 pounds (1,191 kg) or tow up to 14,000 pounds (6,350 kg). Additionally, just like with other electric pickup trucks (like the Chevy Silverado EV and GMC Sierra EV), no one really knows exactly when the 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger will be available at dealerships – the company only says that "for a limited time, (customers) can go to RamRev.com to reserve a place in line to pre-order the all-new Ram 1500 Ramcharger and Ram 1500 REV models."

The 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger arrives on the all-new STLA Frame (body-on-frame) platform that is "designed specifically for full-size electric vehicles featuring a body-on-frame design." It incorporates an all-new high-strength steel frame, the battery pack is tugged in the middle between the frame rails, and also features a multi-link independent rear suspension with "standard, segment-exclusive, active-level, four-corner air suspension." The latter has five modes, including off-roading and Autonomous Drive Assist System (ADAS) features like Hands-free Highway Assist (L2+), among others.

The new 2025 Ram 1500 made its global debut, featuring an all-new 3.0-liter Hurricane engine family that brings the Ram lineup even more standard power, more performance and improved fuel efficiency.

"The new 2025 Ram 1500 brings our customers more: more power, more performance and more fuel efficiency with our all-new 3.0-liter Hurricane engines," said Tim Kuniskis, Ram brand CEO - Stellantis. "With a choice of new and proven gas engines or our upcoming electric truck offerings, Ram is built to serve truck buyers everywhere. Our new powertrain offerings add to the unique combination of bold styling, leading-edge innovation and technology, durability and capability Ram customers have come to know and love."

The 2025 Ram 1500 offers customers three engine options, including the all-new 3.0-liter Hurricane and 3.0-liter Hurricane High Output (H/O) Straight-Six Turbo (SST) engines from the Stellantis Hurricane Twin-turbo family, the most powerful six cylinders in the segment, and the award-winning 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 eTorque. The all-new 3.0-liter Hurricane engine is rated at 420 horsepower and 469 lb.-ft. of torque, while the High Output engine is rated at 540 horsepower and 521 lb.-ft. of torque. Capability includes a maximum towing capacity of 11,580 pounds, a maximum payload of 2,300 pounds and up to 24 inches of water fording.

An all-new, ultra-premium Tungsten model joins the 2025 Ram 1500 lineup, which also includes Tradesman, Big Horn/Lone Star, Laramie, Rebel, Limited Longhorn and Limited models.

In Q3 2024, a new Ram 1500 RHO will join the lineup with the 540-horsepower Hurricane H/O, reinforcing America's leading off-road and performance truck lineup.

The entire Ram lineup will offer customers benchmark gas and electric vehicles that get the hard work done and families where they need to go. Ram is committed to innovation and powertrain leadership with a lineup that consists of anything and everything truck buyers want and need.

In addition to the upcoming gas-powered Ram 1500, Ram will offer an all-electric 2025 Ram 1500 REV that arrives in the fourth quarter of 2024, with an all-new Ram 1500 Ramcharger featuring even more class-shattering range to follow.

Ram 1500 is part of Ram's significant contribution to Stellantis' Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan to lead the way the world moves by delivering innovative, clean, safe and affordable mobility solutions. Reducing greenhouse gas emissions is a key element of the Stellantis Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan. Stellantis is committed to cut its carbon footprint by 50% by 2030, all while achieving net carbon zero by 2038.

Built in Sterling Heights, Mich., the 2025 Ram 1500 is scheduled to arrive in dealerships in the first quarter of 2024.

State-of-the-art Hurricane engine family delivers big-engine power with more performance, improved fuel efficiency and reduced emissions

The 2025 Ram 1500 offers the all-new 3.0-liter Hurricane Standard Output and High Output engines. These new engines, members of the Stellantis Hurricane Twin-turbo family and the most powerful six cylinders in the segment, deliver enhanced fuel economy and fewer emissions while generating more horsepower and torque than other naturally aspirated V-8 and boosted six-cylinder engines in the light-duty segment.

The all-new 3.0-liter Hurricane engines join the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 in the Ram 1500 lineup. All three engine options offered with the 2025 Ram 1500 are paired with a TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission that optimizes smooth shift changes for fuel economy, performance and drivability.

The foundation of the Hurricane engine is a deep-skirt cast-aluminum block with a structural aluminum alloy oil pan. The strongest Ram engine ever uses cross-bolted steel main bearing caps to contain the strong rotating assembly of a forged steel crankshaft and forged steel connecting rods. During manufacturing the block is deck-plate honed to optimize the cylinder bore shape, which helps improve fuel efficiency.

Stellantis propulsion system engineers employed state-of-the-art technologies to deliver reduced emissions and attain big-engine power, including:
  • Two low-inertia, high-flow turbochargers, optimized for each engine, feed three cylinders for rapid response to throttle inputs
  • Plasma transfer wire arc (spray bore) coating in the cylinder bores for an ultra-thin, low-friction wear surface
  • High-pressure (5,075 psi/350 bar) direct fuel injection
  • Engine-mounted water-to-air charge cooler with a dedicated cooling circuit
The 3.0-liter Hurricane engines are produced at Stellantis' Saltillo Engine Plant in Mexico.

New rear axle offers increased performance, durability and efficiency

The 2025 Ram 1500 features a new high-torque rear axle to further enhance ride quality for trucks equipped with the 3.0-liter Hurricane H/O engine. Available in 2WD or 4WD, a traditional open or limited-slip differential automatically divides torque among the rear wheels to maximize traction available at each wheel. An available electronic locking rear differential gives the driver the ability to lock or unlock the differential on demand, providing enhanced traction to the vehicle when needed.

Ram 1500 offers a 3.21, 3.55 or 3.92 axle ratio, allowing customers to optimize fuel economy and vehicle capability.

Drivers will enjoy class-leading ride and handling via a double wishbone front suspension and five-link solid rear axle with available, segment-exclusive, active-level, four-corner air suspension. The adjustable air suspension enables up to five different modes: entry/exit, aero, normal, off-road 1 and off-road 2.

Contemporary design aesthetic telegraphs bold, heroic presence

The new 2025 Ram 1500 is reimagined with a modern, contemporary exterior design that telegraphs the bold, heroic presence Ram is known for. The latest iteration of Ram's light-duty truck is instantly recognizable while incorporating a sleeker, more aerodynamic appearance. New premium LED headlamps, including twin bi-functional projector headlamps, are standard on Limited and up. A new, larger, forward-leaning grille signifies a heroic presence while taking boldness to another level. The iconic Ram grille caters to a wide variety of buyers and is available in eight unique interpretations as dictated by the particular model. A new, prominent R-A-M badge has been lifted to increase the presence and make a proud statement.

A drawn body-side character line stretches from front to rear, tying together the front fender, cab doors and bed fenders for a consistent horizontal profile. The bed and cab are sub-flush to reduce aerodynamic disturbances. All-new taillamps with a jeweled appearance across the lineup, including LEDs with Blind-spot Monitoring, available on select models.

New for 2025, the Ram 1500 offers a power open/close tailgate with obstacle detection. When equipped, the key fob now includes a button to lower the tailgate. A multi-function tailgate continues to be available and adds even greater utility to the segment's cargo-management and storage leader. The best lockable bed storage in the segment continues to be available with RamBox, featuring a 115-volt outlet. The class-exclusive RamBox cargo management system includes versatile, weatherproof, lockable, illuminated and drainable storage bins built into the bed rails. Available with RamBox is a pickup bed divider and cargo rail system with four sliding, adjustable cleats.

The 2025 Ram 1500 is available in the following colors: Diamond Black, Bright White, Ivory White Tri-coat, Delmonico Red, Flame Red, Hydro Blue, River Rock, Baltic Grey and Billet Silver.

New ultra-premium Ram 1500 Tungsten sits atop the light-duty lineup with high-quality authentic materials

The new 2025 Ram 1500 Tungsten model gives customers an ultra-premium experience while staying true to the hardworking nature of the Ram 1500. The all-new Ram 1500 Tungsten includes an all-new power tailgate, a premium LED taillight design and a contemporary R-A-M badge.

Tungsten's Indigo/Sea Salt interior includes new platinum patina/semi-bright dual-textured metal accents, featuring diamond knurling, suede-wrapped headliner, A- and B-pillars and visors, and heated and ventilated premium quilted Natura Plus leather driver and front passenger seats with 24-way power, including memory settings and a massage function, power lumbar support and four-way powered headrests. Other features that give Tungsten a well-crafted, high-quality feel and appearance include a Tungsten badge on the center console featuring inlaid metal lettering and diamond knurling, which also proudly displays the vehicle identification number or VIN, brushed platinum patina aluminum litho bezels, a unique crystal-effect shifter center cap, an ultra-premium Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system with 23 speakers, all-new class exclusive dual wireless chargers and a metal pedal kit.

New Ram 1500 interior offers authentic materials while staying true to Ram's hardworking nature

The new 2025 Ram 1500 sets the benchmark for pickup truck interiors once again with a variety of authentic, premium materials that are both comfortable and durable. The interior design team focused on premium textures, colors, materials and continuing to enhance functionality for unexpected luxury throughout. Authentic and premium materials include carbon-fiber, metal and leather elements that combine to deliver a level of luxury only seen in a Ram truck.

In addition to the new Tungsten model, new heights are achieved with enhanced colors and materials seen throughout the 2025 Ram 1500 lineup, including:
  • Bighorn/Lone Star features a new Gridiron paint with laser etching decorative trim accents on the dashboard, doors and console and new Gear Embossed seat insert accent material in Diesel Gray or black
  • Laramie features new Chevron film decorative trim accents and introduces a new optional Bison Brown/Sea Salt Gray two-tone interior in addition to the standard black interior
  • Rebel features a new red/black ombre mesh insert material on the standard cloth/vinyl seats
  • Limited Longhorn features the new Barn Wood 45 open pore real wood veneer with an improved sawcut effect. Longhorn is exclusively available with the all-new Bison Brown monochromatic interior and massaging front seats
  • Limited features new Black Ebony open pore real wood veneer decorative trim accents. In addition to the standard black monochromatic interior, Ram 1500 Limited features a new optional black/ebony red interior color package for a dramatic two-tone effect and massaging front seats
Other enhanced features include a push-button trailer steering knob and an accessory switch bank that, when equipped with the 14.5-inch touchscreen, uses full-time dedicated buttons on the bottom of the touchscreen combined with conventional physical controls directly off screen below.

Segment-defining interior loaded with advanced technology, comfort and innovative features

The new 2025 Ram 1500 features the latest, most advanced Uconnect system ever, with an improved 12-inch or new 14.5-inch touchscreen display and intuitive user experience. The Uconnect 5 system offers even more connected services and features for unmatched ease of use.

  • Advanced Atlantis electrical architecture enhances Uconnect 5 with operating speeds that are five times faster than the previous generation with more memory give and lightning-quick response to touchscreen input in as little as .05 seconds
Active Driving Assist is the company's name for Level 2 (L2) automated driving capability. The technology affirms the company's march toward an autonomous future. Ram 1500 is available with Active Driving Assist for hands-on-wheel and eyes-on-road automated driving using lane centering with adaptive cruise control. The system uses multiple sensors, including radars and cameras to dictate appropriate roads for the technology.

Hands-free Driving Assist is the company's name for Level 2+ (L2+) automated driving capability and offers hands-off driving at all speeds and lane centering on approved roadways, for even greater driving convenience. The system will predictively slow the vehicle down in tight curves, automatically resume control after driver override and verify that the driver is paying attention to the road.

An on-board power inverter, when equipped with the new 3.0-liter Hurricane engine, offers up to 1.8 kilowatts with two covered outlets located inside the bed. With the Ram 1500's 3.0-liter Hurricane engine running, while the truck is in park, customers can turn the inverter on via the touchscreen and with a switch located to the left of the outlets. The engine will then ramp up revolutions per minute (rpm) to support the on-board power inverter. Ram 1500 models equipped with the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 eTorque engine can run the inverter while the truck is in motion.

An available fully digital rearview mirror with tow mode provides an unobstructed rear view that enhances safety and visibility. The digital rearview mirror displays video in real time from a rear-facing camera, offering an image that is unobstructed by the D-pillars or rear seats. It also reverts back to a traditional reflective mirror by toggling the switch underneath.

The 2025 Ram 1500 features a class-exclusive 10.25-inch passenger screen. Only visible to the front passenger and with dynamic touchscreen control, it offers three major functions: co-pilot (navigation, device management), entertainment (via HDMI) and the ability to view the exterior vehicle cameras. The front passenger screen features an HDMI plug, which lets occupants connect their phone or tablet, turning the touchscreen into a mirrored extension of their device, allowing internet searches, music and app use to project through the Uconnect 5 system and is the only truck available with this feature.

The 2025 Ram 1500 features a full-color Head Up Display (HUD) that is configurable up to 10 inches and features several different content areas at once, including Lane Departure, Lane Keep Assist, adaptive cruise control, turn-by-turn navigation, current speed, current gear and speed limit. All HUD settings can be personalized and saved within the driver profiles.

A 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster shows nearly two dozen different menus, including driver-assist technologies such as adaptive cruise control, active driving assist, drowsy driver detection and speed limit traffic signs display.

Available class-exclusive dual wireless phone charging enhances functionality for front passengers and connectivity ports that are sculpted for quick recognition.

Ram owners can now add a digital key to their smartphone or watch to access and start their vehicle. After enrolling in Ram Connect and downloading the Ram app to a compatible device, owners can create and store digital keys in their smartphone's wallet. They can then access their vehicle without removing the phone from their pocket. Digital keys can be shared with other compatible devices, while the owner retains full control over the access. An NFC-based smart card is provided to users as a backup. This can be used to unlock and start the vehicle in cases where the smartphone is not available. While traditional key fobs remain standard, digital keys give customers more flexibility in terms of how they access their trucks.

Ultra-premium Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system provides exceptional sound quality

The new Ram 1500 Tungsten earns its place atop the lineup with an ultra-premium and best-in-class 1,228-watt Klipsch Reference Premiere audio system as standard equipment with stainless steel speaker covers and is the most powerful factory sound system available in a truck today. This system is the first automotive application of Klipsch and is the only P4 audio system available in a pickup truck.

Stunning audio performance is delivered through the exquisite, segment-exclusive Klipsch audio system, which employs a best-in-class 23 specifically tuned speakers, the most available speakers in the segment, including a high-performing 12-inch subwoofer and two one-inch titanium dome tweeters.

More than 100 available advanced safety and security features

Safety and security were primary drivers in the development of the new 2025 Ram 1500, which offers more than 100 available active and passive safety and security features. Standard features include ParkView rear backup camera with dynamic grid lines, electronic stability control (ESC) with electronic roll mitigation and six standard air bags. The all-new 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger debuts with a class-shattering targeted range of up to 690 miles. Ramcharger and its best-in-class targeted range joins the lineup as the latest example of how Ram will offer customers benchmark gas and electric vehicles delivering disruptive, leading-edge advanced technology.

"With unlimited battery-electric range, the Ram 1500 Ramcharger is the pinnacle of the light-duty pickup truck segment and the ultimate electric truck," said Tim Kuniskis, Ram brand CEO - Stellantis. "The new Ramcharger is a beast of a light duty - 663 horsepower, 615 lb.-ft of torque, 4-second 0-60 mph, 14,000 lbs. of towing... and zero need for a public charger."

The 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger features a 92 kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery pack, paired with an on-board 130 kW generator, sending power to 250-kilowatt (kW) front and 238 kW rear electric drive modules (EDMs). The 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger features one EDM on the front axle with an automatic wheel-end disconnect that allows the front wheels to spin freely in certain conditions, maximizing efficiency. The second EDM is positioned on the rear axle with an available electronic-locking rear differential.

Power flows in sequence from the 3.6-liter V-6 engine to the on-board 130-kW generator. The engine generates mechanical power that is converted to electrical power by the generator. The electrical power can be used to charge the battery when the battery is depleted or if the driver wants to preserve the battery power. It can also be applied to the high-voltage bus where the EDMs can use the generator electrical power plus the battery electrical power to provide maximum power to the wheels. There is no direct mechanical path from the engine to the wheels.

The 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine is adapted for the specific mission of powering the onboard generator, with unique packaging to make room for the front EDM. The on-board generator mounts directly to the engine while a power inverter module mounts on the vehicle and connects to a junction box.

A liquid-cooled 92-kWh battery pack features a design that incorporates the pack efficiently with a pouch cell format in a parallel configuration. Ramcharger's battery is positioned under the floor in the center of the truck and maintains a flat floor. Ram offers customers a quick and convenient recharging solution with the ability to add up to 50 miles of all-electric range in approximately 10 minutes with 400-volt DC fast charging at up to 145 kW.

The 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger uses the all-new STLA Frame platform and is designed specifically for full-size electric vehicles featuring a body-on-frame design. The all-new high-strength steel frame is comprised of advanced materials to be lightweight, yet stiff and durable. The STLA Frame is wider in the middle to efficiently incorporate the battery pack while still using protection afforded by the frame rails.

Drivers will enjoy class-leading ride and handling, a multi-link independent rear suspension with standard, segment-exclusive, active-level, four-corner air suspension. The adjustable air suspension enables five different modes: entry/exit, aero, normal, off-road 1 and off-road 2.

Autonomous Drive Assist System (ADAS) vehicle capabilities include Hands-free Highway Assist (L2+) offering hands-off driving at all speeds and lane centering on approved roadways for even greater driving convenience. The system will predictively slow the vehicle down in tight curves, automatically resume control after driver override and verify that the driver is paying attention to the road. Autonomous parallel and perpendicular parking assist is also available and uses multiple sensors, including radars and cameras, to dictate appropriate roads for the technology.

Unique exterior design distinguishes Ramcharger in the light-duty lineup

The 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger features a unique blend of exterior styling that incorporates the new themes seen in the Ram 1500 gas-powered truck and the Ram 1500 REV all-electric vehicle. Ramcharger telegraphs the bold presence Ram is known for through a modern design aesthetic. A large, forward-leaning grille features subtle styling differences and a prominent R-A-M badge. The Ram 1500 Ramcharger embraces a modern, body-color front fascia to differentiate it from the rest of the light-duty lineup while maintaining Ram's DNA.

A drawn body-side character line stretches from front to rear, tying together the front fender, cab doors and bed fenders for a consistent horizontal profile. The bed and cab are sub-flush to reduce aerodynamic disturbances. The charge port has been thoughtfully placed on the driver's side front quarter panel and, when plugged in, the R-A-M badge pulsates to indicate the charging status. An audible sound signals the Ram 1500 Ramcharger is plugged in and charging has begun. The charge port features Level 1 and Level 2 AC charging on the top half and DC fast charging on the bottom half of the charger.

Moving to the back of the Ram 1500 Ramcharger, an all-new power tailgate and a new, modern and contemporary R-A-M badge are unique to the lineup. Like the front, the rear of the Ram 1500 Ramcharger features an all-new, EV-specific, premium LED taillight design that spans onto the tailgate, indicating it is an electric Ram truck.

As the truck's backbone, the Ram 1500 Ramcharger enjoys the same usability of the truck bed as its gasoline-powered counterpart with the capability of carrying plywood and drywall with ease. The new 2025 Ram 1500 Ramcharger offers the best lockable bed storage in the segment with the unique and convenient RamBox, featuring a 115-volt outlet. RamBox is illuminated, highly versatile, weatherproof, lockable and includes drain plugs on the bottom of the storage bins.

I've said for a while that I think GM had the right concept with the Volt. EV with a generator. Plug in when you can & use the generator when you can't.
No range issues, and sips fuel.

Biggest issues are it adds even more weight and takes away massive storage potential (huge ass frunk). But for a truck that tows, etc...its the right call.

Good points.
Mazda may have had a decent idea with using a compact rotary for the generator, but I don't that would have the output to keep a full size truck going when the battery is depleted.

Ram updated the 1500 pickup for 2025, giving the truck a refreshed design, new powertrains, and two new trims. One of those trims is the new RHO, a performance-oriented pickup that will serve a new kind of Ram customer.

The RHO won’t be as potent as the TRX, which ends production after the 2024 model year. But it should be just as capable. Ram hasn’t dished out all the details yet about the new pickup – those will arrive closer to the model’s launch – but this is everything we know about the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO.

The Ram 1500 RHO is a new trim for the 2025 model year. It’s an off-road-oriented pickup that will sit above the Rebel in the brand’s refreshed lineup of sporty trucks.

The RHO won’t be a direct replacement for the TRX. Instead, it will serve a new kind of customer, according to Ram. Although it may have less horsepower than the TRX, that should translate into a lower starting price, making the RHO more affordable to a broader audience.

The RHO won’t have a V8 Hemi. Instead, Ram is installing its new twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six Hurricane engine (borrowed from Jeep) that’ll make 540 horsepower with 28 psi of boost. We don’t know exactly how much torque is on top, or how quickly this truck will get to 60 miles per hour, but it could be somewhere in the neighborhood of 5.0 seconds. Those details will arrive later.

Ram will position the RHO at the top of its truck lineup, which should give you an idea as to its off-road capability. There are no rugged specifics about this truck, but it could be as capable as the TRX but with less power.

Ram hasn’t revealed how much the 2025 RHO will cost when it launches. The truck will sit above the Rebel in the lineup, which starts at $61,295 for 2024. The TRX commands nearly $100,000, so we expect the RHO to fall somewhere in the middle. A price tag in the mid- to high- $80,000 range wouldn’t surprise us.

The RHO will join the lineup in the third quarter of 2024. Ram will have more information about the truck, including the price, closer to its launch date.

The all-new 2025 Ram 1500 RHO made its debut and once again cements Ram Truck as North America's off-road truck leader. As the latest example in a long line of performance truck leadership, the Ram 1500 RHO offers the best value with more horsepower per dollar ($129.60) than any other off-road offering.

"The 2025 Ram 1500 RHO is the latest result of a relentless pursuit to engineer, design and deliver a truck that charges into the segment head down and horn up," said Tim Kuniskis, Ram brand CEO - Stellantis. "All that we've learned from developing every truck in Ram's legendary lineup has led us to the most capable light-duty pick-up truck, offering the best value with more horsepower per dollar than any other off-road truck."

The 2025 Ram 1500 RHO is powered by the all-new 3.0-liter Hurricane High Output (H/O) Straight-Six Turbo (SST) engine from the Stellantis Hurricane Twin-turbo family. The 3.0-liter Hurricane High Output engine is rated at 540 horsepower and 521 lb.-ft. of torque, delivering enhanced fuel economy and fewer emissions while generating more horsepower and torque than other naturally aspirated V-8 and boosted six-cylinder engines in the light-duty segment.

Capability includes a maximum towing capacity of 8,380 pounds, a maximum payload of 1,520 pounds and up to 32 inches of water fording.

As part of Ram's Core/Electric/Sport approach, Ram 1500 RHO expands the Sport light-duty lineup that already consists of Warlock and Rebel.

Built in Sterling Heights, Michigan, the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO is scheduled to arrive in dealerships in the third quarter of 2024 and starts at $69,995, not including $1,995 destination.

Uncompromising off-road performance, power and relentless capability

The all-new 3.0-liter Hurricane H/O SST engine is the most powerful six cylinder in the segment. An eight-speed automatic transmission delivers quick, crisp gear changes during both normal and performance driving conditions.

This new powertrain is 150 lbs. lighter than the previous performance model and features a more balanced weight distribution. The 2025 Ram 1500 RHO benefits from this with enhances agility and faster reflexes.

A high-flow air induction system features a hood duct that drains water and filters out debris from reaching the engine and helps the truck breathe only clean, cool air. A high-capacity radial air filter is housed in an open-top air box that allows easy access for a quick field-clean.

RHO features a new exhaust system that is different than the rest of the Ram 1500 lineup. This exhaust system incorporates a Sport Tune low-restriction system with true dual pipes running from the front to the back of the truck.

The Ram 1500 RHO is equipped with a BorgWarner 48-13 full-time active transfer case that enables passage through any off-road obstruction or weather condition. This modified transfer case features upgraded internals for improved strength and durability. Ram 1500 RHO features a low range of 2.64:1 for rock crawling and can be flat-towed while in neutral.

An independent front suspension system with active performance damping uses high-strength aluminum to maintain overall strength and durability. The independent front suspension system includes unique front upper and lower control arms made of forged aluminum with special attention paid to the caster and camber angles during suspension cycling. The longer, substantially sized front upper and lower control arms are designed with a focus on additional wheel travel and axle track width. This suspension system features retuned spring rates, jounce bumper and damping control to provide enhanced performance and endurance.

Bilstein Black Hawk e2 adaptive performance shocks use precision-machined, single-piece construction comprised of rigid aluminum to reduce and dissipate heat and continuously adjust damping forces for optimal body control and terrain isolation. The adaptive performance shocks feature robust corrosion protection, with a durable finish and directional-machined cooling fins aligned with airflow for more effective cooling.

Dual Electronic Proportional Valves continuously adjust damping forces for precise, independent control of compression and rebound damping. A nitrogen-charged remote reservoir uses a hot-formed, zero-leak tube closure to ensure maximum durability during extreme on- and off-road events.

A pressure-activated Triple Rod seal has been field-tested for long-lasting durability against contamination and leaks. Ram 1500 RHO uses stainless-steel braided high-pressure hose to combat corrosion and abrasion while being able to resist up to 5,800 PSI. A high-strength, lightweight rock shield defends the piston rod against incoming rubble with a custom molded escape path for debris.

The Bilstein Black Hawk e2 adaptive performance shocks have been tuned to demonstrate optimum balance between on-road handling and class-leading off-road capability. Ride comfort, body roll control and handling are significantly improved with the proprietary Ram Active Terrain Dynamics suspension management system, new shock tuning, hard points and body mount strategy.

In addition to an enhanced urethane jounce bumper, the internals of the Bilstein adaptive performance shock feature an internal three-stage progressive hydraulic Jounce Control (Jounce Cut-off) to provide bottom-out control during the most extreme compression events. All drive modes can reach peak compression damping for the most extreme events.

A Dana 60 rear axle with full floating axle shafts is standard equipment and handles the rear electronic locking differential and 35-inch tires. The Dana 60 rear axle uses an axle hop damper that enables improved traction and axle control on rough surfaces. A rear axle center section provides balanced performance and a locking differential for increased off-road performance.

The 2025 Ram 1500 RHO features a rear suspension system that is innovative, durable and unique. The greater wheel travel offered by RHO is managed without reducing cargo area in the bed. Adaptive damping and a five-link coil system create comfortable ride characteristics no matter the road surface. The frame's hard points differ when compared to a standard-issue Ram 1500 allowing for rear axle travel of up to 14 inches. The Ram 1500 RHO offers more than 40% additional rear wheel travel when compared to the rest of the Ram 1500 lineup.

The Ram 1500 RHO boasts a ground clearance of 11.8 inches due in part to a 2-inch ride height increase when compared with the rest of the 1500 lineup, along with 35-inch tires. This combination enables RHO to clear surface obstacles easily and at high speeds.

Chiseled form meets elevated function

The new 2025 Ram 1500 RHO separates itself from the rest of the light-duty lineup with an aggressive stance and an hourglass body design. Composite flares are stretched over 35-inch tires and 18-inch available bead lock wheels for heightened capability straight from the factory. Ram 1500 RHO is eight inches wider than anything else offered in the light-duty lineup and the composite fender flares accommodate a six-inch increase in track width. Ram 1500 RHO features box outers made of steel and are wider than that of a traditional Ram 1500. Premium LED taillamps are standard on RHO and the bezels allow for the Blind-spot Monitoring function to see around the extended box outers.

A unique R-A-M badge, front grille, hood, skid plates and steel bumpers help RHO meet heightened performance objectives. The R-A-M badge is bigger when compared to the rest of the Ram 1500 lineup and features a flow-through design that assists with airflow. All-black premium LED headlamps, including twin bi-functional projector headlamps, are standard. LED clearance marker lights flank the front bumper are also integrated in the hood scoop. A distinctive animated lighting signature activates when approaching/departing the truck and when the remote start feature is engaged.

RHO customers can choose an optional full-length rock rail for added body/sill protection or traditional off-road powder-coated aluminum running boards. Optional body-side and hood graphics are available as a pair or separately.

Since the rear of the truck is what most people will see if they're not sitting in the RHO, the design team positioned a large R-A-M badge, like what is seen on Rebel, across the tailgate. Center identification marker lights, like what is seen on Ram heavy-duty models, are tucked between the tailgate and rear bumper. Oversized tow hooks, found at the front and rear of the truck, and integrated 5-inch dual exhaust ports drive the functional performance objective home.

Performance-inspired interior features a host of leading-edge technology

The 2025 Ram 1500 RHO combines new features, technology and authentic premium materials with performance, class-leading quality, comfort and durability. The interior design team chose premium textures, colors and material, including available hand-wrapped instrument panels for unexpected luxury throughout. Taking the attention to detail one step further, Ram 1500 RHO features a custom center console badge with vehicle-specific VIN and an "RHO" badge on the passenger's side instrument panel.

The Ram 1500 RHO features premium 12-way power leather front seats including memory settings, a new massage function and embroidered logos. Heated and ventilated premium Natura Plus leather with perforated suede accents cover the front bucket and rear bench seats. The RHO and RHO Level 1 Equipment Groups come standard with medium Greystone stitching and Graphite Metallic accents. The RHO Level 1 Equipment Group offers standard carbon-fiber accents and available red accent package, including seat striping, accent stitching, perforated leather and speaker grille accents.

A console-mounted performance floor shifter, which includes a cast metal main grip wrapped with semi-perforated leather, lends itself to spirited performance driving that RHO offers, while maximizing storage. Aluminum paddle shifters stretch above and below the steering wheel spokes, allowing the driver to choose the proper gear with their fingertips.

The Drive Mode selector has been integrated into the dashboard above the transfer case switches and offers different modes of operation: Auto, Tow, Mud/Sand, Rock, Snow, Sport, Baja, Custom, as well as a Valet mode. A Launch Control button is easily within reach of the driver, sitting to the right of the transfer case switches, and is standard on RHO. Each drive mode offers a unique screen that splashes across the 12.3-inch digital display to highlight which mode has been selected.

Designed to be the most technologically advanced pickup ever, the new 2025 Ram 1500 RHO is loaded with an array of innovative features combined with the fifth generation Uconnect system offering convenience and connected services, keeping Ram customers engaged and informed all while keeping their eyes on the road or desert path ahead.

A best-in-class interior with leading-edge technology features over 50-inches of combined available digital display screens. Some additional and notable leading-edge technology features include:
  • Largest reconfigurable touchscreen in its class with a 14.5-inch touchscreen display, which is the interior's nucleus and uses split-screen capability for dual application operation. Atlantis electrical architecture enhances Uconnect 5 with operating speeds that are five times faster than the previous generation with more memory give and lightning-quick response to touchscreen input in as little as .05 seconds.
  • Class-exclusive 10.25-inch passenger screen, only visible to the front passenger with dynamic touchscreen control, offers three major functions: co-pilot (navigation, device management), entertainment (via HDMI) and the ability to view the exterior vehicle cameras. The front passenger screen features an HDMI plug, which lets occupants connect their phone or tablet, turning the touchscreen into a mirrored extension of their device, allowing internet searches, music and app use to project through the Uconnect 5 system and is the only truck available with this feature.
  • A 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster shows nearly two dozen different menus, including driver-assist technologies such as adaptive cruise control, active driving assist, digital tachometer, drowsy driver detection and speed limit traffic signs display.
The 2025 Ram 1500 features a full-color Head Up Display (HUD) that is configurable up to 10 inches and features several different content areas at once, including a digital tachometer, Lane Departure, Lane Keep Assist, adaptive cruise control, turn-by-turn navigation, current speed, current gear and speed limit. All HUD settings can be personalized and saved within the driver profiles.

Hands-free Driving Assist, the company's name for Level 2+ (L2+) automated driving capability, offers hands-off driving and lane centering on approved roadways for even greater driving convenience. The system will predictively slow the vehicle down in tight curves, automatically resume control after driver override and verify that the driver is paying attention to the road.

Available class-exclusive dual wireless phone charging enhances functionality for front passengers and connectivity ports that are sculpted for quick recognition.

New, RHO-only multifunction switch bank and the optional Trailer Reverse Steer Control sit below the touchscreen, giving physical control of specific features. Redundant HVAC controls are located on both sides of the display.

An audiophile-quality audio system is offered to immerse passengers in the ultimate sound experience, including a class-exclusive 900-watt premium Harman Kardon audio system with 19 speakers and 10-inch subwoofer.

Already in the Wagoneer I believe.
Wouldn't be surprised to see it in the Charger & Grand Cherokee too, maybe in the lower power trim.

Can't wait to see people start taking 84-96 month loans at 7% out on this thing.

It's cool, and looks cool, but doesn't have the insanity of the TRX.
